Baby Bedding

We registered for our baby shower over vacation.  I realized there is a whole lot on those registry lists that babies just do NOT need (I'll save that for another post!).

I  had big plans to register for the crib bedding, but when Jason and I saw the "Lamb" bedding in person at Pottery Barn and we thought of the empty crib in an empty room, our impatience got the best of us and we just bought it ourselves.

I'll admit that this was a bit of a splurge for us, but I used the gift card I won from The Fairfield House's Easter Egg Scavenger hunt to apply toward the cost of the bedding.  Thanks Deborah!

I'm loving the quilt, which will be draped over a rocking chair to keep me and baby warm.

Aren't the little lamb appliques so sweet?

I love how soft the crib sheet is and the brown stitching on the bumper.

We're looking forward to sharing the room as it comes together. It's hard to believe he'll be here in less than three months!

  1. Stephenie,

This is just too cute. I am excited to see how the room will look when you are done but more so to see the room's resident resting in his crib, counting sheep! Glad you finally got to use the gift certificate. Did the "Coupon King" find anything for PB Kids?!

  8. The first step in choosing your baby bedding is to consider the overall theme and style you want to achieve. The infants bedding will set the tone for the rest of the decorations in his or her room.

  11. If you are going to choose a new bed for your babies, you must also purchase a mattress pad as most of the babies use to leak in their bed. A mattress protector is a good thing for Baby Mattress Protection.
