Opinions Please

So I did a little update to the Valentine's mantel.

I gathered some branches from outside and spray painted them red.

What can I say . . . I was bored!






What do you think?  Red branches or not?











Just wondered which you like better . . .

    Yes definitely, they add some height and detail. Your mantel is looking so pretty.

    Beautiful mantle. The only change I would make would be to remove the red bows. Simplify!!! I might have to do this with my mantle...it has been empty since Christmas and needs attention!

    I like the branches also. It adds varying height and holds the eye. I never would have thought to paint them red! You have a great eye for detail.
