I am from small-town America with big town ideas. I am from anything with chocolate and nothing with vanilla. I am from picking wild strawberries as a kid in our backyard in the country. I am from knitting for everyone but myself. I am from trying new crafts and hiding their imperfections. I am from the working class where putting in extra hours is the norm. I am from scented pine cones and warm fires. I am from learning to survive in dysfunction. I am from camping and creating. I am from orchards and bodies of water. I am from old books with worn pages. I am from words on pages to electronic words.
Hi Stephenie: I'm here from New Friend Friday! This is a great blog...I will follow! You live even further upstate than me! It's the winters I can't stand, but I too wanted to (and did, for 20 years) live in New York City, but now find the country oh so nice! Love to garden; you will see more of that on my blog as spring arrives!
Just looked at your Fixer-Upper link at top....love it love it! Too bad when we bought our house I didn't take many pictures(this was a good number of years ago....), but we too had one room that had been used as the cat litter box! oh man. Well, it's been my stsudio/office ever since and it's gorgeous and my favorite room in the house! Amazing what you can do with some hard work and good taste! I love your house and these pictures!
Love the white chandelier! I've been looking for 2 years (seriously!!) for a cool, unique looking chandelier for the kitchen table area - just can't find anything I like - want something a little Italian/Tuscany looking?? Thanks for a great blog and lots of good info too!
oh yes. that looks like its going to be a beautiful room. love that light fixture. i wanted to come over and say hi. saw you on my sweet girl kerry's blog... so glad i found you. :) lovely images... hope you have a fantastic weekend. will be your newest part of your "support group" xo
Saw you over at tranquil townhouse and decided I should come and introduce myself and maybe stick around for awhile. Will be following. xo Erica ps- come play at my blog too! :)
Oh no!! The second photo isn't working for me! This post really is a teaser! I'm dying to see the chandelier everyone else mentioned. I guess I'll have to keep an eye out for your big reveal.
I still can't see it but maybe it's just my crazy computer? I swear my aura clashes with technology. If you want me to come back and check again, I'll be working on a project for work and will keep checking my e-mail. My address is: margaret.ann.sewell@gmail.com
