I couldn't sleep tonight so I turned to my latest addiction: My blog. I clicked on my dashboard and scrolled through all of the sites I follow. I was excited to see The Lettered Cottage had another "Mantel Mania" post, so I headed over there to see what Layla had to say. I was shocked to see that my mantel was featured in Layla's post!
Of course I am the only one awake in my house at 2:58 in the morning on this first day of Spring 2010 but I am silly with excitement so I had to blog about it and tell anyone out there who is as crazy as me and is up at this hour. I haven't been featured on any other blogs yet, and to have my first feature be on The Lettered Cottage is an honor. Layla (and Katie over at Philigry) was one of my inspirations for starting a blog in the first place.
Thanks Layla! You made my weekend!

Don't you love it when this happens? Well actually it has only happened for me once but still I could relate. I'm glad to know I am not the only one addicted to my blog. I seriously go to sleep thinking of post ideas and wake up thinking about it. I think I need an intervention. :)

ReplyDeleteSweet dreams.
I just discovered your blog through a comment you left on Sarah's Beach Cottage (isn't she fab!). I love your mantel and sob that I don't have one. Thanks for the scrabble message idea though...don't need a mantle for that...I'm on to it! And I completely understand the obsession when you have a new blog...mine's only two months old as well...isn't it fantastic fun (even if it leaves you very sleep deprived!)
